Just got done reading the San Lucas Canyon pi...Tim,<br />Just got done reading the San Lucas Canyon piece. Thanks for all your efforts. My stepfather hiked from the Saline Valley side up to the first big station where it changes direction and heads up Daisy Canyon. Somewhere in a cardboard box are pictures from his hike, maybe about 1970 or thereabouts. I remember how amazed he was at the size of the motors and equipment up at that inaccessible spot. Have to find them. And hauling water and cement for the tower footings. You have to wonder. Have you looked at the U of Colorado Mines pictures of construction?
